Cherisse Gasana is a trade union communicator for IndustriALL Global Union, which represents workers in the manufacturing sectors globally.
Passionate about telling workers’ stories, she has spent most of her career learning how to give a voice to the workers’ struggle. Photography and video have enabled her to develop her storytelling ability and to communicate workers’ voices effectively and with integrity.
With questions of discrimination taking a central place on the global stage and impacting all aspects of society, especially in Europe since 2020, she took a very personal interest in how racism is reproduced and resisted in the trade union movement.
