Adam Martín Skilton (Tossa de Mar, 1973) is a journalist with over 30 years of experience and a writer. He holds a degree in Information Sciences (UAB) and two master’s degrees: one in Human Nutrition and Health (UOC) and another in Nutrition in Physical Activity and Sport (UB).

He has specialised in health topics, particularly nutrition, physical activity, and mental health. In 2024, he received the Ondas Award for his podcast on mental disorders, Gent normal. He is also responsible for writing and presenting the podcasts Cáncer 360, focused on cancer research at the Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO), and Sans i estalvis on Catalunya Ràdio, which covers nutrition, diet, and physical activity.

He began his radio career in 1992 and has directed and hosted programmes on Nova Ràdio Lloret, Ser Catalunya, Com Ràdio, Rac1, Catalunya Ràdio, Antena 3, BTV, and TV3. Additionally, he writes for the magazine Consumer.

He is the author of nine books, including three popular science works on nutrition and a short novel, El nadador de aguas abiertas, which has been adapted for the stage and nominated for six Max Awards.
