Born in La Rioja and educated at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), Kevin is a passionate researcher dedicated to studying and unveiling the secrets of tomorrow’s medicines and therapies. His journey began in 2013 when he moved to Vitoria-Gasteiz to study Pharmacy.
After completing his degree, he pursued a PhD in regenerative medicine and advanced therapies, which he completed in 2023, focusing on pioneering innovations and treatments. His research took him across the Atlantic to Chicago, where he worked on developing disruptive new therapies. Upon returning to Spain, he undertook a year of postdoctoral research at UPV/EHU, working with stem cells, before joining Tecnalia. There, he currently leads projects aimed at revolutionising the medicine of the future.
But science is not his only passion. Kevin also lives and breathes music. As the composer and producer for his band, he has performed across Spain, blending his love for creativity with a unique ability to connect with people. From the labs to the stage, Kevin is a firm believer in the power of innovation to transform lives.
