Ritxar Bacete (Vitoria-Gasteiz, 1973) is a father–with all of that implies. Man in transition and continuous learning, and passionate about the beauty within people and things. He is a vocational anthropologist, and a social worker by conviction. Also, he is specialist in gender, masculinities, feminism, equality policies, positive parenting, and development economy. His career has gone through jobs as varied as cooperation–in Croatia, Guatemala, Mexico, and Cuba–, education of people at risk of social exclusion, and politics. He also is a social researcher, consultant, trainer, and coach of people and teams. In the last years, he has started, boosted, and collaborated in different projects to promote men implication towards equality, as is the program Gizonduz, from the Basque Institute for Women. He also is a senior fellow, and coordinator for Spain at Promundo Global.
