Haizea Ziarrusta Intxaurtza was born in Dima (Biscay)in 1990.She
has a Degree on Chemistry, and in 2014, she finished a Master
on Environment Pollution and Toxicology in the Analytical
Chemistry Department of the UPV/EHU.All along her four years
of PhD, she examined the side effects of the pollutants on water
ecosystems. She has been a Public Health Technician for the
Basque Government since 2018.
Apart from her interest and concern about the environment, she
has always felt the necessity of moving her body to disconnect
from other problems she has in mind. Thus, she played football
during many years and was the Basque Country’s champion of
anvil in 2015.She continues doing sport and lately, she is
enjoying hiking on the mountains with her daughter.
